Our Gym

Villawood is the second gym under the SICG name. Villawood has more consistently high walls. We have worked hard to create a gym which will set a new standard.

SICG, Villawood is own by a consortium including the three owners of SICG/St Peters, Mike Garben, Simon Stevens, and Tony Meer. Added to these is Tim (Kip) Newing, Neil Lasker and David Stone. Neil was one of the original owners of SICG at Summer Hill.

The gym is on Woodville Road, right next to Bunnings, near the railway flyover, and near Villawood railway station. Villawood is only a 10 minute drive from both the M4 to the north and the M5 to the south, making it easy to get to from all over Sydney.

SICG Villawood is around the same size as the St Peters gym, but with a more open feel. The main climbing area is over 15 meters high. At the centre are be two towers with lots of lead climbing on steep faces, aretes, roofs, and corners. The surrounding walls will have top ropes, including an international standard speed wall, and lots of variety.

We also have bouldering, kids' activities, party areas and a climbing gear shop.
